The Zeca armchair is a timeless collectable piece of modern brazilian design.
Designed in the early 1960s by José Zanine Caldas for Móveis Artísticos Z, a factory he founded in São José dos Campos (SP) in 1948, the Zeca armchair bears some of the unmistakable marks of the master woodworker's work. In 2017, the piece of furniture was redesigned by his son Zanini de Zanine.
Made of solid wood, the armchair was named after Zanine Caldas' childhood nickname Zeca.
